When you eat there it's great. But trying to call an order is ridiculously hard. They won't even answer the phone and say please hold. That southern hospitality just goes out the window when the girls are stressed. Burgers are nothing special and steaks aren't very tender due to bad cuts. But it's one of the 2 restaurants in snook TX. Let's face it if competition moved into this location it would go down. I used to believe that this location was better than Bryan's location, obviously not any more.
Really great steakhouse, about 15-20 mins from College Station. Known for their gigantic steaks and chicken fried bacon.
Good country cookin, with friendly service and tributes to the fire fighter community. Do yourself a favor and get the "chicken fried bacon", you will love it!

Wow... Not sure you will ever be able to eat this good and this inexpensive ANYWHERE else. The chicken fried steak was excellent and tender. The small was perfect for one. My wife got the small sirloin steak. Wait... did they say a small was a 20oz steak ? I swear the small sirloin would easily feed two or three adults. And so flavorful. The wait staff was very helpful, always on top of our drink refills and very accommodating to our requests. Will certainly be back !!
